Writing this at 2am is definitely not one of my better ideas.

I have spent many years advocating for freelance artists' financial rights when faced by low pay, no pay, profiteering, exploitation, extortion and more. Which segues perfectly to the one annual experience which encompasses all of the above: Edinburgh Fringe. 

Last year, I had a gap between day job work so I ran an EdFringe affordable accommodation project, liaising with 145 people to source affordable (and sometimes free) accommodation for 187 EdFringe participants. One week after the Fringe ended, I started my current day job, and I no longer have free time - hence seeking a producer to take over from me, rather than back in November as intended.
