Joseph Toonga founded Just Us Dance Theatre in 2007, and in its first few years, the company performed at a variety of dance festivals such as Outspoken Dance and Connect Festival at Lilian Baylis, Scoop and Live Vibe at the Peacock Theatre. In late 2010, Joseph Toonga was awarded the Blueprint Bursary which was funded by East London Dance, London Youth Dance and Sadler’s Wells allowing the company to perform at The Place Theatre, ArtsDepot, Greenwich Dance Agency and Stratford Circus.

James Finnemore

Read more ...Saturday 6 July. After graduation James worked with Carte Blanche, The national company of Norway, performing works by Club Guy and Roni, La Intrusa Danza, Hofesh Shechter and Kristin & Yoshi Inao. From 2010 - 2013 James was part of Hofesh Shechter Company, performing Uprising/In Your Rooms and Political Mother on national and international tours.

James's own recent works The Age and Patriot have been performed at various UK venues as well as in Spain and Croatia, the latter winning 'best choreographic direction' at ACT Festival Bilbao.

B-Hybrid Dance

photo 4Sunday 7 July. B-Hybrid Dance was founded in 2012 by Irish native Brian Gillespie and is formed by a pool of stylistically-diverse dancers. Brian produces contemporary dance that is inspired and crafted from the hybrid of influences, experiences, and interests that the company's members have collected and practiced.

John Ross

Read more ...Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 July. John Ross graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2011 with a 1st Class Hons. Since then he has been commissioned to create many works, including a musical for Old Vic New Voices (for which he received a nomination by What's On Stage for their Best Choreographer Award), Dance United and The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance.
