Read more ...Friday 15 November. A recent graduate from Roehampton University with a First Class Degree in Dance Studies, Kirsty has been part of many different performance companies, dancing in various venues. She was part of the contemporary dance company 'New Ground' in College, and was then lucky enough to be part of the student-led third year dance company, 'Third Row' at Roehampton. Working with emerging choreographers such as Rachel Erdos, Jack Webb and Ceyda Tanc, Third Row was Kirsty's first taste of being in a professional dance company. She has always been interested in choreography, and this piece is her first major work. She hopes to establish a company in the future, exploring innovative movement and creating new works.

Jo Meredith

Read more ...Friday 15 & Sunday 17 November. Jo Meredith trained at London Studio Centre and the London Contemporary Dance School. She has worked as a dancer for dance companies including National Dance Company Wales (formerly Diversions), Maiden Voyage and Combination Dance and as a freelance artist for choreographers including Drew McOnie, Lucy Burge, Kate Flatt, Adam Hougland and Susie Crow. She took part in the UK tour and Broadway transfer of Didy Veldman's Peter and the Wolf and was part of Wayne McGregor's Dancelines programme at the Royal Opera House. Last year she was swing on Will Tuckett's Wind in the Willows at the Linbury Studio Theatre and is delighted to be returning for the show's West End transfer.

Anne-Gaëlle Thiriot/The Latecomers

Face VertigosSaturday 16 November. Anne-Gaëlle Thiriot is a dance artist born in Paris. Originally a geologist and a movement educator, she trained in contemporary dance and contact improvisation in France and Italy until she arrived in London in 2007 to study at Laban. Since then, she has worked as a performer, a choreographer and a teacher/facilitator in many different contexts, among others with h2dance, Noa Zamir, Candoco, Dance United etc, and internationally. In her work, she questions the notion of choreography and the role of the performer, using instant composition and improvisation along with tight scores.

Bricolage Dance Movement

SONP5Friday 15 November. Anna Buonomo is an Italian-born contemporary choreographer working in the UK as a dance artist, performer and teacher. Her work blends ballet, hip-hop and contemporary styles to achieve unconventional movement dynamics using emotions and human narrative as starting points.

In October 2010, Anna’s work Tied Up was selected by UK Young Artists (ukyoungartists.co.uk) for their first National Showcase in Derby with mentoring support from Akram Khan. Anna's works have also been shown at The Place Robin Howard Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse and Stratford Circus. In May 2011, Anna was selected as choreographer for The Big Dance Royal Flash Mob event for 135 performers at Buckingham Palace, viewed live by 200 people and over 1 million times since on YouTube.
