For the last two and a half years Cloud Dance Festival has provided performance opportunities to innovative and talented professional dance artists. As well as offering all important performance space, Cloud Dance festival presents an exciting programme of contemporary dance three times a year for those who are simply looking for to watch high quality contemporary dance. We have achieved this without any funding to date.

Cloud Dance Festival is recognised for its remit to support talent in emerging dancers and choreographers by offering them networking opprtunities, advice and facilities to show their work to a paying audience.

We have planned an exciting programme of growth for 2010, however it is completely dependent on incoming funds to take place. Our planned activities include:
- use of larger venues to offer better facilities to performers
- a series of industry-related talks open to the public
- a series of career development workshops for festival participants, open to members of the industry
- commissioning works from talented new and emerging choreographers
- procuring performances from more established dance companies
- an awards scheme to recognise and reward exceptional achievements
- an Associate Artists scheme to formalise our ongoing support of certain outstanding choreographers and companies.
