 		 Rancidance was formed in January 2008 by Olivia Vella. It aims to perform a variety of fresh, original work that communicates clearly with its audience. Works to date include 'Human Waste', 'Methieal', 'Brush on Silk' and 'Down'. Rancidance will be touring 'Am X' from September.

Brush On Silk

 

Using Japanese Geishas as its prime inspiration, this piece is exquisite, subtle, and delicate. It aims to recreate a mood of something from the past that tickles the imagination. It oozes femininity and sensuality, but also grace, pride, and tradition.
