Beyond Repair Dance

Beyond Repair Dance formed in 2006 under the co-direction of Jane Coulston and Matthew Howells.   Following the success of their debut work 'Beyond Repair' premiered at the Place's Robin Howard Theatre the company have performed extensively throughout England and Wales, while leading numerous workshops and residency programs.

‘Cube With Magic Ribbons’

‘Cube With Magic Ribbons’ was created as a commission for Welsh Independent Dance’s Dance Bytes program. The work investigates and challenges the conventional use of performers in space. The work keeps the performers and audience at a range of distances from each other, allowing the blank space itself to be the dominant feature at times. How one is drawn in and where the focus is directed at any one time will be different for each observer and performer.

Beyond Repair Dance have recently finished touring this work, and leading residency programs throughout Wales as part of the Dance Bytes Tour.
