After studying music in Glasgow, Raymond furthered his training in dance and theatre at Bird College in London.  Since graduating he has had his work performed at venues ranging from Cloud Dance Festival to Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, and most recently at The Place as part of Resolution! 09.  He also works freelance as a teacher and performer in London.

"Finally, a pacy work for the seven-strong Raymond Tait Dance in the DV8/Protein tradition of Great British dance theatre. A little bit kitsch, a bit wry, with a touch of self-deprecation; it playfully pokes fun at painful truths, in this case the incompatibility of passion and long-term love. In To You rollicks along with mood-setting movement, animated performers and an onstage violinist (nice touch), but somehow it felt like an extract from a longer piece. Which is not necessarily a criticism, perhaps an incentive."
