Once You're Gone
?When I?m alone I pretend you are with me and we talk like we used to. I say all the things I meant to but never did. When I sleep I dream; I dream I am with you and I am happy again.?
It's a piece about losing someone, through death, through circumstance. It's too late to say all that you wish you had said: you must learn to open up again. The piece is sensitive, touching, honest and hopeful.
