?Cube With Magic Ribbons? was created as a commission for Welsh Independent Dance?s Dance Bytes program. The work investigates and challenges the conventional use of performers in space. The work keeps the performers and audience at a range of distances from each other, allowing the blank space itself to be the dominant feature at times. How one is drawn in and where the focus is directed at any one time will be different for each observer and performer.
