Blackbird Muse is the first part of White Wall Dance?s last production, Meet John Smith, which was performed as part of Evolution!2008. Blackbird Muse is a 10 minutes movement-based solo by the first character, serving as a prelude to the entrance of the second character. Meet John Smith tells the story of a lone man and the dedication and commitment he gives to his day to day job as a independent contractor. The story is told through physical theatre, voice, visuals, music and a good potion of dark humour.
