Currently, Cloud Dance Festival is funded solely through ticket sales - on the premise of the dancers’ belief in their craft and dedication to the art of Dance. However, we are now reaching out for support to help take the festival to the next level and make its infrastructure as strong as its performers. Due to lack of funding it becomes increasingly hard to offer the performers any kind of compensation, meaning many companies travel, rehearse and perform on their own funds. One of the most important elements of the Festival is the performance space. Working in a permanent and professional theatre with good flooring and adequate space is not only inspiring for the performers and audience members, but also provides a base for the festival each time it runs. Therefore, we look to find Cloud Dance Festival a more permanent home and support for performers enabling us to not only approach emerging artists but also established companies. With your help and support, we will make this a reality. Your support and sponsorship can range from a minimal contribution to a more substantial input, and could assist us with covering the costs of publicity, technical staff, crew, transport costs, equipment hire or even venue hire. You can also choose to make a general donation in aid of the festival as a whole. In addition, we would also be grateful to receive support in the form of services such as printing, merchandising, equipment or general assistance.
