Sophia was born in Yorkshire and trained with Louise Browne as a York Scholar, Dawn Staples and Northern Ballet School. Her Stage credits include Mary in The Pyjama Game; Meg & Ballet Girl in Phantom of the Opera-West End Apache dancer in Joseph-West-End; Blue Fairy and Fox in Pinocchio at ROH2-Will Tuckett; Princess in The Red Balloon at ROH2-Aletta Collins.

Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures credits include- Marshmallow and Cupid in Nutcracker!, Moth Maiden,French Princess and Girlfriend in his 10th Anniversary Swan Lake and creating the role of Bunny Munroe in the original cast of Edward Scissorhands; Opera credits for ENO include Kismet, Mikado and Merry Widow. Film credits include Phantom of the Opera and Young Victoria.

Sophia has loved revisiting Callas again since 2008 and is proud to have such a wonderful and supportive cast working with her..

Lîla Dance finds its inspiration for creativity in exploring the synergies between highly physical exertions with sensitivity of thought. The company members regard themselves as “movement inventors” who treat every new work as an exciting opportunity to discover original movement which finds expression through articulate physicality. During each creative process Lîla Dance immerse themselves in images and ideas which are explored with intuition and spontaneity in order to find “physical sensations” expressive of a gut response from the flesh and nerve.

Van Huynh Company was founded in 2008 to further the exploration of the human body and its relationship through time and space. Inspired by everyday life and people, Dam’s choreographies are grounded in reality and dig further to access a deeper layer of conscience. The Company selects movements and attitudes to process this information by expanding and exaggerating the observed gestures. The result is a physical dance creating a sense of surrealism, where the capacities of the human body are explored to its extremes and infinite details become prominent.

Sol Dans is a contemporary jazz dance company founded by American choreographer Melody Squire. Influenced by the music and athletic dance styles of her native Chicago, Melody brings a breath of fresh air to the British dance community. Sol Dans premiered in Resolution! 2008 at the Robin Howard Dance Theatre and continues to entertain audiences with emotionally colourful performances.

Hagit Yakira is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher currently working in London. She graduated from the Music and Dance Academy in Israel and the Laban Centre. She is also a qualified Dance Movement Therapist.

In recent years, after years of performing and teaching dance internationally, she has been developing her own choreographic work; creating unique dance theatre performances, working on solo works, on group works as well as collaborating with other dancers, musicians, designers, film makers and actors; performing around London the UK (Including Derby Dance, The Point, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and more), Europe (winning the second place at Burgos New York Dance competition, Spain for New Dance Category 2007, the first prize at the Kajaani dance competitiion in Finland 2009 and more) and Israel.
