How about ending your week with something special, let's say an evening of some high-quality contemporary dance? How about a handpicked selection of some of the most promising artists in contemporary dance and modern ballet? And all in the comfort of the cosy and intimate Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town - a venue which has previously seen performances by Antonia Franceschi, Ballet Black, Rambert Dance Company and Richard Alston Dance Company.

Sounds good? Then read on...

Cloud Dance Sundays is an offshoot of Cloud Dance Festival, which aims to make contemporary dance and modern ballet more accessible to new audiences, and to promote the most promising and most exciting choreographers and companies in this field.

Approximately once a month (depending on availability), we'll be presenting two to four works on a Sunday evening at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town, offering a handpicked selection of artists who will inspire and captivate you, and whose works we're certain you'll enjoy and want to see more of.

And also, the Lion & Unicorn is a great little pub, and a wonderful place to celebrate (or mourn) the end of the week.

Our launch event was held on Sunday 19 May, featuring Rachel Burn, John Ross and New Adventures Choreographer Award runner-up Tom Jackson Greaves, to a very enthusiastic and sold-out audience.
