Udifydance Company is an all male contemporary dance company and an associate artist at The Point, Eastleigh and Resident Company at The University of Winchester. The company was founded in 2008 by Artistic Directors Chay Burrows and Christopher Reynolds Udify is excited to be receiving support from Brighton Dome as well as mentoring in 2011 from Hofesh Shechter. |

Playing on the idea of rhythms and dynamics we are building material which is laced with moments of intricate outbursts and dynamics which create an aesthetic effect to the audience.
Our stimuli develops from the idea of a rock hitting water. Looking at the 'ripples' where does the energy expand and disperse; what happens when an obstacle stops this ever ending out ward movement? Looking at the initial impact of the rock, the perimeter this creates as the water convects and concave - how does this effect the energy and motion of the movement between the two dancers. Using different emotions placed on the movement, we have started to see a change in feeling between the two dancers and their relationship. Choreographers: Chay Burrows & Christopher Reynolds
